In recent years digitalization has also been playing an increasingly important role in the field of life science. There is an increasing focus here on collected data. In order to be able to use this data to explain, for example, complex interconnections of cellular behavior, or to better understand cell-based production processes, suitable methods are required for standardization and analysis.

This is why the Project Center for Stem Cell Process Engineering is pursuing the following approaches:

  • Development of methods for the standardized, robust and reproducible generation of data in stem cell process engineering
  • Computer-aided analytical methods for the optimization of cell-based production processes
  • Development of methods for the clarification of cellular interconnections (life cycle of a cell)
